The Fifth Child

On this night, we also remember a fifth child. This is the child who did not survive to ask a question at the Seder. The Fifth Child is the child of the Shoa, of war, of climate change, of society's prejudices...
Instead of saying too much, we ask you to take Miriam’s Cup, which is filled with fresh water to remind us of the fresh water well that accompanied us as we wandered in the dessert. Pass it around your table and pour a little of your own water into it. If you feel like saying something, please do.
