MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing and alleviating hunger among people of all faiths and backgrounds. MAZON (“food” in Hebrew) seeks to embody twin Jewish ideals: tzedakah (justice) by providing food for those who are hungry today through our grantmaking, and tikkun olam (repairing the world) by practicing and promoting advocacy to ensure that no one goes hungry tomorrow.
